Amanda Baird has over 10 years of experience working with children, teens and families. She has a diverse background in education and childhood mental health services. Receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Master of Social Work with honors from the University of South Florida, Amanda practices as a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern.
She is trained in a variety of cutting edge play therapy approaches such as Child-Centered Play Therapy and Sandtray Therapy. Incorporating play and sandtray techniques allows children to safely express their world, feelings and needs.
Amanda has a passion for helping children and teens become empowered in finding their best selves while making healthy decisions. She provides a space that is a judgement free zone and safe enough for them to feel seen and heard. She works with parents every step of the way in supporting their child’s mental wellness. Amanda’s goal is to equip parents with the right tools and support to ensure the best transition into adulthood for their children.
